Been through the carbs linked and synced, will get back out and check fire.
Well that helped the high end miss but now it runs along and loses power, throttle back and give a sec and it will go again, or die and start right back up . Fuel pressure and vac. were good.
Ok thanks will try that just disconnected the 2 wires and tested per the manual. The plugs are the correct ones checked that. THANKS FOR THE INPUT WILL RETEST AND BE BACK.

Wires are correct, the coil and stator have been changed under the flywheel. I am getting 160-200 dva on the orange orange/blue. TDC verified.
Dva was low, they call what I would call the stator a charge coil on this one. Ignition coil and power pack were replaced before I got it.

Well found my problem, had changed plugs when this all started checked them again today and what do you know. Changed all of the plugs and it runs like a top.

OK will pull it. Wouldn't I be getting a lean problem if it was a reed on this?
So far I scoped them have not pulled the intake off.
Reeds look good. Changed filter when this started, maybe a teaspoon of water in it.
Spark is good on all cylinders, have not looked at the reeds, but will look today. After reading some going to go ahead and send my fuel system to Integrity for service.
Water and some form combustible liquid that would separate from the fuel.
Forgot to add , got some bad fuel 2 months a go. Drained tank replaced fuel filter twice, and again when this started.

OHM test would be about it.
What Joe said better link/sync and check timing.
Go to CDi website and print the trouble shooting guide for your motor and test it. Dont remove the flywheel till you test and determine the problem.
Have a motor that I need to replace the head gasket on and the Serial number look up keeps giving me the wrong gasket, so I think someone has replaced the power head. Called Mercury they cannot tell...
