Your particular boat would benefit greatly from from running the wires down the other side to get all the electronics off the stock wiring

I've only heard of cheap lithium batteries starting on fire and burning for days. I actually never seen any problems with my own eyes

Of the 3 brands I do at the shop the guys with all Lowrance are always the most satisfied. Lowrance products just work great together

Ive taken off so many Ultrex that need repairs there's no way I would solder the wires. Rings on both sides to a block has never failed me

Used them all sell them all Ghost and Force are both great no comment on the other one

The holes line up couldn't be any easier just make sure the mount is flat and level both ways and it will be a smooth operator

Certain brands are much harder than others. I'd say Ranger is way more difficult than most but still can be done. 10k-15k makeover is still cheaper than a new boat
