Not trying to blame them. They have been very good to deal with.
Lakes are at winter pool so I haven’t been running it very hard. It is just strange that it ran fine till I had it serviced.
Mercury VesselView only had one code “low voltage “ it was 11.6.
I had my yearly service done and when I got it back it ran fine for about five minutes and then it had a dead miss. I took it back and they said they had to replace the plugs. I have had good luck...
It does say which ever comes first. I have maintenance scheduled. Thanks for the replies.
I’m the same. I spend lots of time on the trolling motor. Much less time running up and down the lake. I now have an appointment to get my yearly maintenance done.
The maintenance schedule on my mercury vessel view says service after 100 hours. I did the 20 hour service. It has been a year and I haven’t put 100 hours on it. Most lakes I fish are under 4000...
I have one 7’11” in my trx 189 with no issues.
Not running a 19trx but I just noticed after my four stroke had a few hours it seemed to open up.
After 30 or 40 hours mine started to loosen up and I got a couple more mph out of it.
You should notice your boat riding better too.
Please post pics and first impression.
Thanks that does help and you are right the 175 is the real deal.
Did the power poles kill your hole shot or top end?
I bought the 189trx and added the extras that the 18trx come with because the dealership is limited on how much they can lower price of the boat. They have the ability to deal on the jack plate,...
I try that thank you.
I am switching from hook2 lowrance unit to elite ti2. Does anyone know which adapters I need? I don’t want to order the wrong one.
Another option to consider is a water pressure gauge.
I have a 2020 189trx with a 175 4s. I added a 6” jack plate not because I had a real need to go faster but to help with chine walk. Still dialing it in. Lakes are frozen right now. The power polls...
Mine will connect with the key on but disconnects when I start the motor.
My 189trx has a 175 4 stroke. I have mercury VesselView but every time I start the motor it disconnects.
I found some pictures of an 18trx and it seams to have multifunctional gauges. I guess I’ll would have to c/o 2 gauges.
Has anyone had a water pressure gauge put on their 189trx? If so where did you put it? I don’t mind doing away with the speedometer but I need the trim and gas gauges.
If you don’t mind me asking what is your prop to pad?
