One is an open hook on light tackle while the other is usually weedless and requires a lil more power to drive the hook.

The fall on the stik-o is just like the GCYB variant. I throw em weightless and notice no difference.
Daiwa steez sv with 6# test and a Phenix Feather med lt rod will launch a 1/10 ned rig....thats the exact size I use. I also have honeycomb spools that work very well but the stock steez spool works...

20% off champion rods, maybe you can find something you like in there
Z man also makes the strike king z too Jerkbait so maybe they got together on the bladed jig.
Big game is great but will have memory

What Id like to know is what exactly is "a country mile"....seems like every baitcaster is capable of these distances when reading reviews on tackle warehouse.

Tackle Trap will install the type r spring for you but you wont be able to cast anything light weight anymore. Id say 1/2oz and up you will be fine.
Just turn it into flag football already.
First baitcaster....Tatula sv for sure. One bad backlash can ruin your day and that reel is almost impossible to backlash.

I want a zillion sv but with winter coming up Im probably just gonna wait it out.
Looks good from my end too....from your link or from the main site. Maybe he needs to clear cookies or cache.
Either way are new reels coming out?
Seeing a lot of Daiwa reels on sale. New models coming out?
Does anyone know which of these two will cast lighter lures better? Im talking 5g or so.
Do you guys change gearing simply for the torque or the presentation? The IPT between 7.1 and 8.1 is around 4?
I have a sv103 7.9 right now and was thinking if its even worth grabbing a 7.3.
I always used spinning reels so lefty baitcasting is more natural to me. Never understood how people cast right and then switched hands....seems tiring after 200 casts lol
From the Youtube videos, it looks impressive.
