Comparing which 2 transducers?
What size wire do you have existing for this connection and, have you consulted a wire sizing chart?
What are you trying to do? What size to what size?
Are you putting the card in with the unit ON or OFF? It should be OFF then turned ON after the card is in place.
Where were you 'in the queue'?
The most ideal option is the TM165-HWc and it really should be mounted to the Ry-Tek Marine jack-plate mount. Now you have the best of all worlds.

Remove the HDI transducer and mount the Airmar there. I would suggest the TM 165HW instead of the TM150.
Yep...'da Boss

YES!
Start by sealing the existing holes with G-Flex then install the Stern Saver pad (correct size for your transducer), then install a new transducer.
Can't you come up, over the stern and to the rigging tube from the OB? Then into the tube and run from there?
Are you more interested in the picture quality or which side of your boat the fish are on?
Yes, it appears that a single frequency transducer performs better at that frequency than when you chirp the SINGLE frequency. Remember that a 200 kHz transducer is a single frequency and we know...
Sounds like rye toast to me.
I prefer to wire everything that is NOT switchable to a switch. This makes it much easier to troubleshoot certain things without un-wiring or removing fuses.
However if the yellow wires make more...
Without a pic it is difficult to say for sure, but what you are seeing is probably 'crosstalk'. When transducers of the same frequency are working too close to each other you get these vertical...
Most everyone has seen the comparison video that makes the GHOST sound really loud underwater, in defense of the GHOST I offer this test link....
Which HDS do you have?
This is a sweet idea that I pondered a couple years back. Your pricing seems quite in line but maybe expand on the kit contents.
My problem was not being able to have a kit or 2, that would...
Figure a week to 10 days (each way) for shipping, and about the same for troubleshooting.
If they offer you an upgrade, it will be at a pretty good discount, and that is through the 5 year Service...
IF you are having problems with units, try to resolve them prior to updating the firmware. After the resolve, save all data noted above and proceed with update, hard reset, then load all settings...
Thru-hull or Shoot-thru-hull?
Direction is VERY important when it comes to installing the PD-WBL...….It MUST and I repeat MUST, be pointed downward.
Sorry couldn't help it.
3-1 performs all three sonar/imaging functions. What it will show you on the screen is dependent on your installation.
