I have trim tabs on mine, they make a huge difference in rough water....haven't used them for hole shot purpose,the 250 sho has a incredible hole shot...they are a $650 option

The tilt and trim switch on the side of the outboard motor will trim up and down....the trim switches in the boat will only trim down...

My 2015 Z520ci intercoastal has some padding to it, not as much as the regular Z-boats but enough that it helps, it also keeps my rod/reels from scuffing, it not anything like the hard non-skid on...
