You guys pretty well covered it all. I went from a humminbird system to a garmin, and personally the biggest issue for me was the reliability and performance of the hummingbird software. It just...

I think it’s a fad. Outside of guys that hate using spinning rods I just don’t get the point of them.
I like both. Elites are cool because you generally know the names, plus you can follow the actions over 4 days. Sucks the opens is only one day coverage, but its cool seeing a local guy in a non...
It'd be funny if BASS put together a non-targeted species highlight reel. I remember Zaldain catching a huge striper a few years ago and Hackney catching a "alligator with no arms" pike up north...
Hopefully everyone didn't throw away all their tackle except for jighead minnows
Hot sauce is not a good product for laying down a base coat of protection. It’s a detail spray to clean up the boat at the ramp and doesn’t strip existing wax.
Apply a traditional boat wax or a...
Ya, storing a boat outside with no cover is a wild move
I've heard great things about vexus from owners and co anglers that have ridden in them. My problem was their first boat were just kind of ugly imo. Their newest model looks much better imo.
I agree. Getting junior high / highs school aged kids out in dads boats loaded with all the gadgets and waypoints teaches them nothing. Jon boat or kayak is the way to go to actually find some raw...
For those trying to read this lol
Boxing also has defense, different fighting styles, footwork, athleticism. Power slap is just too one dimensional imo.
I believe the proper old man expression is, "that boy could break an anvil"
I think the rebound effect from covid where they pumped out all the boat they could make really flooded the market. Higher interest rates come along and all the sudden the boat demand tanks. Our...
Reminds me of the fictional TV show in the movie "Idiocracy", "Ouch my balls!"
Bass did the no wake. I think purely to avoid a situation where you get a bunch of boats buzzing under a low bridge.
Zona has mentioned how its very, very obvious that you get a ton of guys crowding day 1 leaders. St Clair was the biggest example last year, suddenly everyone realized day 2 they need to be in anchor...
Like, I totally understand it not being the preferred way to fish for some guys. But the elite series isn't court ordered. You can do something else
Flip on the sound for a minute and get to hear Kuphall bitching about FFS immediately
Or make a facebook post purely trying to shift blame to those that reported it...
I like Gerald, but sometimes the Tony Robbins stuff is too much lol
Exactly. The idea that megabass invented the large plastic swimbait is pretty silly anyhow.
Of course a humminbird guy has issues with FFS :stirthepot:
I know you are joking, but his magdraft “knockoff” is legit. Runs great at a wide variety of speeds, way more versatile than a magdraft
I think intention matters as well. If he’s late and runs it to make it to weigh ins - DQ. If it was a true accident in a weird unmarked BASS (not law) no wake zone the penalty box is fine.
Prices are slowly creeping down. I saw the other day a setup with the LVS 32 and a 9" echomap for 1500 refurbished. When the next gen livescope comes out I could see them getting even cheaper.
