I use the last tool most often.
He just flat catches them everywhere he goes.
We use the Loctite Ultra Gel Control, been in the boat for 6 months and used it yesterday. Does take time to set up in temperatures around 50 or below.

A little mystery science theater 3000 done NASCAR style
We used the T H marine bolt kit for jack plate. They have stainless steel bolts with brass lock nut. We got them from amazon. Be sure to re torque after a couple times out on the water.
