Has anyone experienced the type of distortion I'm getting in the photo?
I've run Mega 360 in tandem with Livescope with no issues for several years now, this happened out of the blue this weekend....
SOLVED - Humminbirds latest update released a day ago for Solix & Helix has fixed the issue.
I didn't realize the latest update JUST came out, in fact it says released Oct 9, 2023 which is int he future. It does say it addresses Solix to Helix sharing issues so I will give that a try.
Both units have latest software. Helix is a Gen 3 and Solix is the original Gen 1. Everything goes to Ethernet box. I've tried restoring all navigation and network settings. What's weird is every...
Bump....still have not found a solution to this problem and it's driving me absolutely nuts having to shut down my units and turn them back on in order to get waypoints I just marked at the console...
After several years of successfully sharing waypoints between the Solix 15 at my console and the Helix 10 at my bow with no changes to the units, they suddenly started experiencing problems sharing. ...
Got an oil prime lined up with a local dealership, thanks for the feedback!
I measured all the way around the pin up and down and am getting no variance on the diameter whatsoever with a good set of calipers.

Regarding the oil prime, I was hoping I could splash...
Does the motor need to be taken to a dealer to do an oil prime after I put this back together? All I did was remove the end cap, no oil lines were ever disconnected.
Took the compressor end cover off, looked down inside and I can't seem to find anything problematic. The pin isn't scoured, the needle bearings all seem like they are in great shape as does the ball...
I plan to pull the end cap assembly tomorrow to take a look inside.
Is compressor failure at 400 hours common on the newer motors? Mine is a 2018 Pro XS. I understand this was a big issue in the...
I just edited my original post with a video. There is a small noise when rocking the pulley back and forth. Could you please have a look and let me know if this still appears normal?
I would...
Upon doing some motor maintenance, I removed my belt for replacement. When I try to turn my compressor pulley by hand, it turns about half of the way around but then there's quite a bit of...
I pulled my lower cowling today to clean the compressor strainer and just so happened to notice that the cable seems to be pulling out of the crimp on the throttle lever.
Is there an easy way to...

Update: replaced fuel pump, have not had the issue since.
The unit was working perfectly fine the day prior, and has worked perfectly fine for the last 3 years so it can't be a software issue. Garmin is exchanging the transducer, so we'll see if that...
My livescope was working fine on my previous trip, however when powering it up yesterday the screen was showing no sonar return. The depth was set to auto, and the numbers on the left hand side of...
I am replacing my old 360 with the Mega 360. Currently old 360 is hooked up via ethernet cable to ethernet box so the Helix 9 at the bow can share with the solix 15 at console. How can I achieve...
Interesting, it’s also a 2018 2-stroke pro XS. Was it a diaphragm in the fuel pump itself?
Over the last year or two my phoenix has been having a problem where after long periods of idle it will stall. The bulb becomes depressurized and needs to be pumped back up to start the engine. It...
Sure did, stuck a 7.5a blade fuse across them and same result.
Yes, as I mentioned in my original post. I even checked the old pump I pulled out after the fact and it's working fine as well. My only guess is a wire may have rubbed inside the boat somewhere and...
Quick Update: Moved the wires over to my accessory switch, same result. So the problem must be in the wiring somewhere - of course that is my luck.
Also, the aerator pump on the other side...
