Hello,
Last year I bought a 14ft Buster fishing boat with a Yamaha F15C (Serial number: 6AGK 1037798) for the small waters. The boat and motor are 2015.
I have now bought an ultrasonic cleaner and...
Thank you! I e-mailed my dealer about this and he found the part but under a different part number. I'll report back when I have tried, probably tomorrow.
I had my new dash hooked up (fuel, trim, tacho, water pressure, and volt) and when testing the trim gauge didn't move... Looked over all wiring and all was according to the Service Manual. Then I...
Thank you everybody! :thumb up2: I got the right place now exactly like you wrote between the regulators. There is a small brass plug now.

Thank you gentlemen!
I have now done some research on this engine. I helped finding it via the Allison Owners forum for a Swedish Offshore V-150 racing team (monohulls with maximum 150hp consumer...
I recently purchased a boat with a Merc 150 Pro Max ss (serial# OG610057) on it and have some questions.

UPDATE!
In the Supplement to Service Manual 90-840421 (Starting Model Year 2006, Starting Serial Number 1E000797) the correct spark plug is NGK IZFR5G and the correct gap 1,1mm (0.043 inches).
I just put in new NGK IZFR5G spark plugs during service, I do it every year even though runtime per season is down to 10-15 hours. This year I gapped them to 0.040 according to my service manual......
Very nice and helpful! :thumb up2:
Thank you!
I've had some trouble measuring prop shaft height due to the lip but I built a rig with an aluminium profile and a laser and set a point I use for reference. I think I am very close to the region you...
Yes, that's right and Darris had two: one used and one new - I bought the new one.
My top speed so far is 97.7mph GPS with the Mazco RE3 30p. I am going to try a Mazco RE3 32p this season (maybe...
I really like the boat. It is a 2002 SS-2000 Excel in mint condition with a 2006 Merc 200xs ss sm 1.87 with 130 hours on it. When I was shopping for a 200xs back in 2009 you pointed me to this one...

Is it possible to run a Mercury 150efi '02 with SmartCraft gauges? If so which ones?
Thank you!
I think it was in the Czech Republic as it is a Czech company that imports the boats there.
Is that something you have? How much shipped to Sweden?
Need a sender for SmartCraft for a 1.8 gallon oil reservoir (part#: 15943A1). What part number? Don, do you have anything for me?
Thank you for your excellent information and for being patient with a noob... :thumb up2:
Ok, thank you! My system looks exactly like the second diagram "Gasoline Fuel Systems for Recreational Boats Prior to January 1, 2012". As the fuel fill hose is only 10cm I cannot fit an inlet...
