I have a H18 with the f115 and a 6” jackplate. I have run 51 by myself and mostly 48-50 with 2 people. Ptp is 4.75” which may be a little low but this prop does not like to run higher. It’s a older...

Sorry it is in Henderson La
I bought some from Boat City USA in Breaux Bridge La. They sold it by the foot in any amount needed.
I bought a set of alum rims for my trailer from recstuff.com Good selection and price. Been rolling them for about 3-4 years and no problems.
Recstuff.com has a nice selection of oem and custom rims. You can purchase just rims or rim/tire combo.
About a month ago my son purchased that same exact prop for his 175txw. Very good handling, holeshot, and lift. Hope you enjoy it
Just curious but I about to move mine up one hole. Mine is a 75 4s. What were your rpms before moving it up and are you running an alum or ss prop?
Does anyone have an idea of about how many rpms could be gained by raising a 75 4s from the 2nd hole to the 3rd hole?
Eld was not the answer. Didnt run bad but certainly not great. Spoke with powertech today and they suggested nrs. Has anyone run a nrs or turbo on a 175txw
Just sent it to the dealer yesterday and they recommended a powertech Eld in a 17p. They said they have been installing these on all the 175txw's if someone requests a SS prop and have had zero...
Thanks. It seems that the x7 is a very popular choice. Any suggestions on a 3 blade and the pros and cons on them vs the x7?
Thanks for the reply. I'm sure this has probably been discussed here before but what range of speed could be expected with the x7?
My son is purchasing a 2016 Tracker 175txw with a 75hp 4 stroke. The current owner has the motor set on the 4th hole from the top and the prop is a powertech ptr 21p. It has 3 batteries in the back....
Thanks, glad it was not just me. Checked it again today and the level is right where it needs to be. Next time I buy the kit I'll just have to remember to get an extra qt.
I recently purchased a new to me 2014 75hp 4s. I bought a merc oil change kit from the dealer which came with 5 liters of oil, oil filter, and washer. After removing old oil and filter and refilling...
I figured there would not be much love for powertech found here. Lol. Honestly 3 years ago I sent my boat to the prop shop and told them to set my jackplate and replace the powertech prop with...
You will most likely want to trim past level to get the hull to lift and get on pad for the most speed. For running at midrange you will be trimmed closer to level give or take. I have a trim gauge...
I could never get mine to run that high. I think most that are running higher are running something other than a powertech prop. Mine settled at about 4-3/4" ptp. I think I would try and drop it...
Maybe spray some PB Blaster on it for a day or so. It usually works pretty well on frozen bolts.
That will work Let me know
I actually measured mine when I got home yesterday and with cav plate level it was 3-3/8" to bottom of boat.
You may want to try raising your jackplate 1/4" at a time until you can find a sweet spot. It should gain some rpms and a little speed
I have the same setup but I'm running a powertech TSO 19p which does have a slightly smaller diameter. 13.375 if I'm not mistaken. It does decent but will blowout if trimmed too high or tight turns....
Are your speeds gps or speedometer? What model powertech are you running?
