Anyone know the temp it should be running i took the lower unit off today it seemed just fine....i pulled the hose for the water pressure guage and there was plenty of water coming out but that side...

Sensors work fine they are brand new...new thermostats and impeller...took head off everything looks good but....checked with a temp gun after alarm...seems as if everything is working as it should...

The alarm came on at speed it does not come on at idle im pretty sure its getting the oil in needs i just filled the oil resevoir up as it was usuing oil

The overheat alarm is only going off on...

Also new temp sensors on both sides

Motor is overheating not sure why it has a new thermostats as well as a new water pump i am getting water pressure at the guage and it is peeing just fine

Has anyone tried hooking up a temp guauge to this motor?

Dont use auto enamel with hardener on a high temp area it will burn the paint right off

Dosent collect any more dirt or grime than the rest of my boat....its called cleaning and i do it when my boat comes out of the water

Anyone hear of using the starboard temp sensors on both sides and diconnecting hot start since the port one is dicontinued

Get some high temp paint from the auto parts store....way better quality

Is it possible for temp sensor to malfunction and not set off the alarm but shut down the engine past 2500 rpm

I tested the alarm and it works fine for both sensors

Took the boat out this morning motor is a ve150gletr got on plane and ran fine for about 2 min took a turn then it started bogging down ....came off the throttle and if i go back above about 2500 rpm...

Started beore but i am curious when i rev the engine from under the cowl it wants to die....if i do it from the throttle by the key its fine....does it increase timing when reved in nuetral from the...

Could it have something to do with the primer bulb i got one from academy rather than getting an oem one

Just weird that im not getting an alarm for fuel flow restriction and it seems as though its a fuel issue

Could it be a dirty fuel filter....there is some dirt in the filter when i look at it...the one on the motor and when i hold it up fuel dosent leak right out it almost sits in the filter....i have...

Newer fuel and i use 93 octane
I did notice that when i took the primer bulb off and blocked both wnds its leaking where fittings go into bulb
