Anyone know what size wire (AWG) the jumper from the battery to the switch is ? Also is the 8 ga. wire SHIELDED to block out any interference from other power sources. Thanks

I have a 2004 50hp 2 stroke complete with controls starts and runs fine don't know how many hours but not a lot, Replacing with a larger motor. Motor will be at Jacos Marine in Lawrenceburg Tn. soon.

Mine was a piece of junk (was installed correctly ,no binding or kinks ) cable broke in one of the 90 degree bends on the plug end after 6 mos. of use. They wouldn't stand behind it.

motor mate all the way, if motor is down securely on mm it can't bounce. Transom saver puts shock from the road on lower unit,thus traveling up the motor to transom. Todays transoms can handle either...

I used the same thing ( it even states it can be used on fiberglass that is roughed up ) when it gets wet the carpet gets sticky ( like the glue is breaking down and coming through the rubber backing.
