I run a Helx 10 mega DI. Only thing hooked to it is my ultrex with built in di transducer.
I'm about to add mega 360. Do I need a Y cable in order to have both transducers connected?

Yes it is set to auto usually. Even set to a certain depth its reading from the rear of the boat versus the front. So the depth reading is inaccurate
