Tranx 300, with power handle.
I like Dobyns 685cb, especially for the Lucky Craft 127MRs.
I like the shorter length, with plenty of power to spare.
Dobyns, Gloomis, and Daiwa have all been pretty good to me.
Dobyns was definitely the best one, lightning fast, great customer service.
Unless you have had a custom built before, it can be the most expensive and difficult route.
On my very first custom, I spent close to $500. When it was all said and done, the rod wasn't exactly...
SS700 for sure. I have mine on a Hedgehog Evolution for Drop shot. Bullet proof reel.
Can't get it to work...
I have the 2013 model paired with my Hedgehog. Absolutely beautiful, smooth, and powerful.
I had a similar goofy story when selling my car on Craigslist a few years back.
I texted back and forth with the person for three hours. At the end of the conversation I just typed "lol." A waste...
A second hand Daiwa Certate is darn near bullet proof, and can be found for around $200.
If I were buying a new one, then it would have to be a Shimano Stradic.
I have had no issues with my Kistlers. The KLX is the best for the money. Not to mention, I still don't understand what happened exactly, and how you were not treated fairly. :confused2:
For what it's worth, I have done well using the TRD, and Shroomz jig heads from Z-Man.
In regards to weight, the lighter the better!
There is really no wrong way to fish it, but I have had the...
I always like the laminate colors, lighter colored side facing downward. Dirty Shad is a personal favorite.
Lucky Craft KJ are my favorites.
1. 7lb Sunline Sniper fluorocarbon for dropshot leader, and leaders in general, and plastics
2. 30lb Tufline Braid for dropshot mainline, top water Heddon Spooks, jigs (Revenge)
3. 12 lb Berkley...
Dobyns Champion 685cb and 705cb.
Im going to check on that.
Dang! UPS quoted us $300 to ship overnight? Is this average? Do you guys know if there is a more economical way?
Senko, Senko, Senko...
I use everything, but with hardbaits, you can't go wrong with Rapalas and Lucky craft.
X2 Wal-Mart spinner baits. This is another one for me, I believe the smaller profile of this bait is what slays them.
x2 Was just about to say the same.
Wondering the same
Try doodling, Don Iovino is the master at it.
Dropshot has always worked for me as well.
Tuf-line for spinning, and Suffix
X2 I do change out the books though
