Sorry, I meant when compared to the PS30.
I suppose it's easy enough to turn off one or the other. Do you find the 62 has better target separation? Specifically, when fish are close to the bottom?
Have you noticed any interference when running LVS62 and PS30 together? Looking at their overlapping frequencies, it seems like that may be an issue.
THIS IS the transducer i've been waiting for!
I saw a spec sheet and the target separation looks to be the same as the LVS32. How is it for making out deep structure?
Now... if i could just...
GT54 does seem to have better resolution in shallow water, but the extra range and versatility you get with the GT56 outweighs it IMO.
Take that for what it's worth though... I rarely fish less...
It's from Facebook, so it MUST be true!
Well, easy fix... Mostly. Turns out my active Captain app wasn't up to date. I have the Vision + maps and features now. Still says my subscription is inactive on the unit. Haven't got that...
You need to be moving in order to get nice looking SideVu and DownVu images.
That's not reassuring hahaha. Hopefully I will be able to get on the horn with Garmin CS Monday and get it ironed out. As with most things, it's probably something simple that I'm missing.
Same story...
I cannot get the vision + maps to show up on AC.
The unit still sees the card as inactive. Even with full sync. Tried booting both ways. Card in or out makes no difference. ...
Roger. I'll give that a shot when I get home.
It's like the plotter sees the maps just fine, but the AC app doesn't. And since they are unregistered, it is defaulting to the G3 maps on the unit.
Hmmm. I had the latest update as of October/November and had no issues with my PS30.
Still no dice. Even with AC synced to plotter and multiple attempts installing and removing the card with the unit on, my subscription status stays at "inactive".
When I pull up my charts on AC,...
Thanks, John. I'll try that again today.
I am also having issues with my Navionics Vision + card. I cannot register the card via Navionics, the active captain app, or Garmin express. When I put the map card in my plotter, it tells me...
Wait... What happened to the PS30?
Tried this on my 106 today. REALLY helps with clearing things up when running higher gain.
Is there a lake list that shows which lakes have which features? (Specifically sonar imagery) The only thing I can find is a PDF that shows Navionics+ lakes.
I found the information on another board.
FWIW, it sounds like minn-kota added length to the shaft to account for the spring-assist and the distance between the deck to the top of the TM barrel is...
I can't seem to find a spec on the deployed length for minn kota. The new lift assist looks like it takes up a fair amount of shaft.
Can someone please get me a measurement from the bottom...
Yessir! I've used it with success out to 180 fow for lakers. They have to be suspended a little to see them though. Even with the beam dialed down to 10 degrees you won't see em on the bottom....
Well, as it turns out, the shaft is too short for my boat. Apparently, the 57 is about equal to a terrova 54, which was too short. I called garmin and it sounds like there are no plans to offer a...
Pretty sure Rhodan does.
The update fixed it?
