Looking at this boat, don't know much about these hulls anything I should know before I go check her out.
I'm not really familiar with the engines was curious to see if these are decent engines and if they had/have any big issues. Thanks folks.
Well there's your problem right there...Your doing it wrong.
If it's sluggish take plugs out/change plug size if it spins to the moon put plugs in.
No expert here but that 24P seems a little tall for a 150. The Procraft are pretty healthy hulls and like lift, I know mine does. I figure a 23P Tempest would be money on your rig. That should get...
On topic: I understand why some are wrapped around the axel about potential political interference in this matter. I offer this for your consumption. At the time this steaming pile of equine fecal...
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." seems pretty appropriate...
+1 on the spun hub and look at where the trim tab used to be the diameter of the trophy may have been a little bigger than your other prop and knocked it off. I had to clearance my tab when I put a...
Dunno brother something sounds off. I would think you would be spinning that tempest way more than 4800 r's since most can spin one to 5400-5500 on a 150. At that RPM you sound as though you might be...
As a 1st Sgt I try to weed ones like this fine young man out by suggesting they persue a career as a grocery store bagger.
Gents, Let's not forget a poriton of the of the oath we took. To support and defend the Constituion of the United States. I get it, believe me I do, that this oxygen thief should rot in hell for what...
Skip I hear ya brother... Let the military court do it's thing. A good bit differnt than the civilian courts. I hope they do destory this sorry excuse for a soilder. Especially a freaking Sgt.
one of those plugs is awful clean looking to have been firing.
I would post this in the Ally forum
What he said about the rooster tail. If you are throwing a big one your engine is too high. Tail should be about even with the top of the cowl. Also the Lazer prop is not very good if stock they just...
Depends check Mark's website should be link over in the props board. I think mine was 230ish but that was a few years ago.
Tempest should be faster. Will lift way better and carry the load better. It will better all round. Hole shot may be a little slower but you can dial that in with the plugs BTW there are a few of the...
Yup I'd hunt me up at 23P Tempest and let it ride.
The pitches are in Pat's post a 23P in both the Lazer or trophy. As far as which is better kinda depends. The Lazer will be good when it's worked but if you don't have the money for the prop and the...
You should be able to get a good deal on a used trophy or a lazer over on the props board. If you can't/don't want to afford the gearcase swap right now, I would hunt down a good used prop and get ti...
23P Tempest would probably be your best bet but the experts should be along shorlty.
It will fit. Depending on set up you may need the ring to help with holeshot.
Cajun what Pat needs is good info in order to help you. Try and take the boat out by yourself and make some runs. If you can get him some solid numbers he CAN help and get you where you need to be...
Not an expert but I think that 26P will be too much wheel for a 150.
You may also want to dump the Lazer. A tempest would carry the load way better. Watch your watter pressure when adjusting as well.
