My thinking is they didn't have a big enough capacitor originally, seeing how the injector system is a 55 volt system they need something to handle the 55 volts

So if you were me, would you spend the money on cleaning, or just by a new injector here a pic of all my port injectors, also, not sure if I mentioned I been running

Starting pulling injectors thinking I'd send them in to clean and test, pulled port side 1st, #6 rattles where 2 and 4 don't. Is this normal? Good,bad, ugly?

I'll be ordering a new injector this make # 2 that I've replaced, guess I'll do one at a time.
So, I also noticed that the #2 LED is not on when the ign is just set to "on" mode. According to manual this is the injection ignition light. Is that telling me its a bad injector?
Yep, that didn't work, pretty sure when I sent them into Fuel injector man 2 years ago #6 was weaker than the rest.
Cool will do, I was a little nevers about messing with that control. #6 inj is definitely clicking
Update: got the ETec diag software, did dynamic ignition check on all 6 cyl, all but #6 bogged down, no change in idle when #6 tested. Did the injector test same thing. Then did static test...
The fuel lift pump or the vst pump?
Ok, I guess I got click happy on the pics lol. But is the filter collapsed because it's so clogged or is there something else to look for. Also where does all the crap in fileter come from since...

Where did you get a new VST filter? Here's what mine looked like I also have the newer vst.413259
After slow rolling up a creek (almost idle) on the way back ran fine for about 1/2 or so then when I stopped takes forever to get on plane, when it finally does get to about 5000 rpm, cleaned...
does it matter if you mix up the pos and neg on the when changing the brushes. Pretty sure I have the the way they were. But there is no marking for pos or neg.. propeller is turning the right...
Probably bent the aluminum out shaft. I did the exact same thing when I lost my lower unit. Jacked up all kinds of stuff. The bearings blew out on the outer shaft also.
Did the armature test, looks like that's the culprit!!! Marked it with tape when it stopped here's a pic of the spot where it won't spin.398878
I adjusted the reed switch ended up applying epoxy to keep it in place, seemed loose. Thought that was the fix. Went back to lake same thing. There is no sound from relay, seems to start working...
