As I have fish bfl I have been in very rough water on the tn river during windy days in other brands. I can definitely assure you that none come close to the Allison and my pick for smooth dry ride...
That is a pretty tight race in speed and the tracker uses the 4 stroke
Ask the guy on fb running the SHO on an 02 what the pros and cons are is all I can tell ya bud.
1/4 oz up 7' med action
3/16 less 6'6" med action
About 70% of the lakes here are soft bottom I figure that may play a role in my results also
Ok I must've been using too heavy of a weight at 1/2 oz since I've been fishing from the bank lately. I'll have to get some different sizes and go out in the boat to see it perform at its best.
Mainly just let it barely tick the bottom on a steady retrieve ??
ive been using 7ft med heavy with a bps 7.1 pq and 1/2 oz look alike rig in most of the times I've used it. Only caught a few fish so far and there aren't many places here with rocky bottoms but...
What time of year ?
What structure or bottom?
what depth and weights ?
what setup ? thoughts ?
Anywhere on the TN river isn't too hot right now. I'll hang at Tenn Tom til the air gets in the 40's.
Yea I know. Still working on this silly old boat and sort of sucks being the only ally guy in these parts. Guess if I had a cookie cutter I'd fit in. Lol
Ha ha
I looked all the way to the solenoids and found nothing wrong could it be the switch bad ?

this is how it was in the picture before I lowered the trailer tongue and motor more.
Lol it's level but I wasn't. The motor wasn't all the way down on that pic I had to drop the front of the trailer more to clear the skeg.

I'm doing this for this coming winter.

I have a 98 mercury 200 efi that keeps blowing the fuse on the side of the block when I use the trim while running down the lake. Only does it while the boat is in motion. It started doing this after...
i haven't seen a wrong way yet myself.
I got sk finesse 3/8oz but no luck on em so far. Paint holds up ok for pickwick but I still don't get why my 3/4 oz still catch more fish where this one doesn't.
