I think that a "Bushing Kit' would be a great idea.
I changed the busing in mine a few months ago. It did help. The whole process took about 3-4 hours. Probably a lot less next time around. The biggest issue is trying to figure out which bushing to...
These guys have them.

I used 8 gauge from console to the bow and have zero noticeable voltage drop. I did use AWG Marine Grade wire. It will carry voltage better than automotive grade SAE.
I'm kinda interested in this also. There is not a whole lot of info about working on your Ghost. I just replaced the bushings on the mount and couldn't even find a parts diagram with part numbers.
I've seen guys with this issue do a complete flush and be good to go. If you can find a dealer with the Sea Star bleed system it would be even better.
We put the V8 200 on my son's 2000 Ranger 518 (different hull design than mine) he runs 4 to 5 miles an hour faster. Agree on the torque though Don. Curiosity. What's price difference between V6...
I repowered my 1999 Ranger from a 200 EFI to the V6 as I was also concerned about weight. No regrets here. Kept the same speed as the EFI motor and probably get better fuel milage. Also, with the...
You might check the fuse on your Clean Power Harness. Should be close to the battery.
This is pretty dangerous stuff. Check out Electric Shock Drowning.

A few questions:
The article mentions a family owns a marina. Do they own the property? Around here, marinas are owned privately and they pay to build their own ramps. Public ramps are just that…....
You may want to take a look at the Tuff Bunk from Protechmatsproducts.com. Great quality. Putting them on my boat trailer soon!
Thank you all for the response. I plan on moving the Point One but want to get the Ghost calibrated. Thanks again limit, NoCAL and Marc.
I've got my Point One mounted at the bow and am about ready to install a new Ghost Trolling Motor. Is it okay to mount the TMC-1 and Point One next to each other? Thank you in advance for any...
Most of the time the AT is powered by an accessory switch. I'd start there to see if it has power going to it. Also check the fuse.
My son got his through Ashmore Marine Products. Very good quality and looks nice. When changing switches make sure you note the correct wiring. The lower switches have a plug connector that I was...
It doesn't really feel lame to me. If I am going down a bank I use the side-scan feature and AT for looking forward. Guess it's just what you get used to and I've only been out with it once. I...
I tested out my 360 yesterday and I must say that I am impressed. True you cannot use the Ghost to move the boat around when in scan mode. If you do move the boat with the TM the scan automatically...
That's Right!! Totally spaced it. Been playing with my HDS9 Gen 3 with the 18.2 update that my brain didn't catch up. Thank you for your reply therobzilla.
I just received my new HDS9 LIVE unit and it had a small manual about this new 19.1 software update. Has anyone tried it? Supposedly includes Instruments???
Another vote for Hot Sauce. Best to catch the spots before they set too long. Also, Hot Sauce has a wax in it.
Pretty sure the powerhead has to come up far enough for all the bolts to come out. If the cowl is as heavy as my 99 200EFI was I'm pretty sure that and rough water is what breaks the brackets.
Strictly as a starting point. I run a 25 Trophy 4 blade on my V6 4 Stroke 1999 Ranger 518. I've seen 19' Nitro's running 24 Fury 3 blade. Different gear ratios in each.
PLEASE research Electro Shock Drowning whenever your boat is moored and AC voltage is around. ESD is a very silent killer!
Also take note that Blue Seas recommends AWG wire NOT SAE. AWG will carry more amperage per size over SAE wire. It's also more flexible.
