I don't know if it is possible but it would be great if the ps21tr software could be similar to the ps31 so you could adjust the beam angle...It would be an definite improvement for collision...

The only problem is if you have a deep v boat...according to the info from lund ......a deep v hull would oscure a lot of the sonar view...

How was your ps21 mounted? Could you tell if a rock was in front of you ... or if it was to the left or right of you ....Garmin reps were uncertain about this when I asked them

Does anyone have any experience with the ps21 frontvu collision avoidance feature? From the spec I see that the sonar cone is 45 degrees in the horizontal plane and 90 degrees in the vertical...

I was wondering if this adjustable transom mount would work to mount the ps31... According to the garmin specs the ps31 should not be in the water above 20 mph...so maybe the transducer could be...
