Well.... It WOULD be strong enough.... LOL
Thanks guys.... Lots of great ideas here... One more question....
Do I need something with a self centering pulley or is that not needed when towing a boat?
OK Thanks... Good stuff and I was aware of most of it already.
What I'm specifically looking for is some kind of ready made harness to attach to the tie down u-bolts on the back of my boat. Then...
OK... We seem to have a fair amount of people near my home lake (Talquin) that can't afford boat motors that run reliably and it surely will fall upon me to render a tow with my Basstracker Classic...
Thanks....
Thanks are they still on the ledges and what are you throwing at them?
Haven't heard from you Talquin experts lately and I suspect the fishing has been pretty good judging by the number of boat trailers at the landings.
How's the fishin'?
Thanks guys.... Good ideas and assurances that I won't need a boat load of tackle to catch a few fish. LOL
WOW!!! That's sticktoitiveness!! Way to go!
There is no doubt that storage is an issue... I hate clutter in a boat. I'm going to have to be very careful about what tackle I actually NEED on each trip.
Normally I tend to eat what I catch if they're legal to keep.
I wasn't really referring to the stowaway idea but it appears that may be my best option.
No ideas?
I have a 2020 Classic XL and am looking for a way to store tackle without having to have tackle boxes all over the boat.
I've seen some boats that have special compartments for the flat clear...
I don't know if my 2020 Classic XL is the same as a 2021 in that area but I had a 24V Garmin Force installed by my local Bass Pro shop prior to delivery to me and there was plenty of room for both...
Yep... I live right by Lake Talquin and although I haven't fished Talquin in several years, before that I fished it a couple of mornings a week for several years and I'm fully aware of the stumps,...
Does anyone have any recommendations for a portable removable ladder for my 2020 Bass Tracker Classic XL?
Cool... Thanks!
Thanks. I ran across a couple of old threads talking about their extended warranties and it appears that if you get the Platinum Extended Warranty and the Progressive Propulsion PlusŪ mechanical...
Tuesday morning I'm picking up my new 2020 Tracker XL with the 50hp option.
There simply aren't many good outboard mechanics near me any more and I am not nearly mechanical enough to even service...
I'll be picking up my new 2020 Classic XL Tuesday and they don't have the 9 gallon tank I wanted them to put in it at the store yet so I will likely be putting it in myself later. How much trouble...
Does anyone know if I get a Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv for my front unit if it will work with the built in transducer in my Garmin Force trolling motor? If I lose some functionality please tell me...
Do y'all put the label directly on the rod forward of the grips or on the reel seat or where?
It seems that the most convenient place would be on the rod but would flexing of the rod cause them to...
OK.... I watched a youtube video about the P-Touch and have decided that I'll probably go ahead and make the leap. This guy has a pretty thick accent but it's humorous and he covers everything pretty...
I had thought of something like this before and I like your system. Keeping records is becoming more of an issue than it used to be in "the old days" when I had more like 15 rods and reels to keep...
