I have a friend who has a fairly new Merc 150 4 stroke on his Triton TR18. Don't know the serial number. He changed the engine oil a month ago and has had it out 5 or 6 times since with no issues.

Just FYI, I had one of my TM batts wired to the starting batt with a manual cutoff switch on the positive side. If my starting batt died, I could easily jump it off. Had to disconnect the ground.
