I had one in my last boat and bought another for my new boat. The only way to go. I can't imagine gong back to anything else.
I mounted mine at the rear. Works fine and it's a short run to the battery
I mounted mine in the same location as my old motor. I will be moving it because at the angle it's mounted now, the motor hangs over the side and will bump into the dock poles if I'm not careful.
I have a 52 and it's raised up a long way. 45 would have been better for me.
Yup. When backing away from the dock I go were it takes me. I've had many boats of all kinds that would go where I wanted within reason, but not this one. Not a deal breaker. I really like the boat.
I eliminated the center seat on mine. Much easier to use as a step.
I have a 2004 TZX 200. It performs great but I have no steering control when in reverse. No mater how I turn the wheel, it goes where it wants. Any ideas?
Far superior. Not even a close call.
I tow my Skeeter with a V6 Explorer. I can't tell the difference from my V8 F150.
I removed my center seat on my 04 TZX 200 too. The only issue I have is getting the left tank to take gas. I checked for obstructions, shortened and moved the hose. Still doesn't take fuel. The right...
Mine wouldn't fill but I could hear the motor running. I was told from someone on here to back the boat up to force water into the lines. It works.
Mine does the same thing. Back up a couple feet to get water in the pump to prime it.
I got mine from Menards. Been on for 3 yrs and still looks like new.
I got one from Menards and cut it to fit.
The Ultrex is the best investment I've made in a long time. You will be impressed.
I tow my TZX 200 with a 2015 Explorer, V6, AWD, similar size vehicle. Don't even know it's back there. A Durango shouldn't have a problem.
That seems like it could be a problem for power poles. I'm in no way putting down power poles. For me the Ultrex is the best thing to come out in a long time. To say I'm impressed is an...
I don't anchor in 3' but I do often in 5' or more. It doesn't stir up the bottom and holds position great.
I suppose but I never anchor in 3' of water. I go deeper and cast to the shallows.
Or just use the spot lock.
I'm glad I didn't get power poles. Ultrex does everything I need.
Same here. I'm thinking it will put a bite on power pole sales.
I mounted mine at the back of the boat. Out of the way and works fine.
Ultrex and don't look back.
I ordered the backs only but they sent the whole set because the material was completely different and wouldn't match the factory bottoms. I was quoted $225.00 for the backs. Final bill was over...
