Topwater action was pretty good for me yesterday, but no big ones
I currently run a 1998 TR-19 175 Evinrude Intruder. I think they are a pretty good boat. I really like the layout, storage, and the fact that it's payed for.
Chine walking
Chine walking does get...
I currently run a dinged up 24 Raker on my 98 175 Evinrude Intruder. I was able to get my hands on a 24 Raker II in very good condition. I found that i will need a different thrust washer for this...
Been reading about the gliss line. Thoughts? I was thinking about trying the 12# on my deep diving cranking setup vs. 10# invisix.
Yea i think I'll remove them. They don't do much because they are so wide. I really don't think I've ever even touched them when loading. I did see a guy make about 20 attempts to get his old basscat...
Has anybody cut the load guides off their triton trailers? I had the weld break completely off on one of the upright brackets and was just thinking about hacking the others off
Thanks for the input Shane! What turbo prop did you run?
How does a Turbo Lightning or TXP compare to the older Raker?
Think I may sent the raker to Mark when I get the chance and look for a good price on a 25 renegade down the road. I need a spare anyway. Thanks for the replies
That looks good! I'm considering it.
Add a slice of petit jean summer sausage. Helps with the dryness and I consider it a meal!
I would have to say it's hard to get much simpler than a s&w airweight hammerless. Just pull and shoot. Holster selection is just as important as the firearm. Never just throw a gun in a purse. Guard...
I like ziplocs and clear rubbermaid containers that are big enough to file your bags in. Put like baits together.
I carry a fluke multi meter for troubleshooting electrical. It comes in handy.
I'm currently running a pretty dinged up 24 Raker on my 98 TR19 175 Evinrude Intruder. I've looked around at as many threads and setups I could find. What prop do you like for this boat? What numbers...
I also like to get the biggest batteries I can possibly fit. I want to get home at the end of the day, and I don't care if i lose 1 MPH because of it. Reliability comes first for me.
Just bought a new starting battery. I went with a Interstate 31-MHD at around $150 after extensive research. Alot of guys are really high on the Die Hard PM-1 from Sears. I cant see spending $300 on...
I already have a Helix5 SI GPS at my console over the steering wheel. I might be interested in running one of these other units to the side. Can i just run a splitter instead of having two...
I have the HELIX5 units front and back. SI at the console and DI up front. The units are ok. They pack alot of punch for the $$$. My only complaint is that the 5" makes it hard to see small detail...
Holding a pencil between your toes is an option too lol
I have the P-Line line spooler assistant. They have a suction cup so you can just stick it on your boat. Works good. Think you can get them at tackle warehouse. Hope this helps.
