My 2020 FXR 21 has the same problem...I learned to just turn the switch and then "manually" push the plug in a little bit to make sure it is sealed properly.

JuJu congrats on your recent purchase! I too moved out of a Ranger (21ft) into the FXR 21 LE and have never looked back! You will really enjoy the fishability of the boat and the overall ride!

I second what Keoweeskeeter said...You will LOVE it! I actually came out of a 21ft Ranger so I can honestly tell you the FXR is a Superior Ride to that of the Ranger!

Totally agree with Keo and Pajoe...Rod Socks are a must with the Mega Tubes.

2016ranger520...I am coming out of a 2007 Z21 Nascar Edition Ranger...Never had a problem at all with the Ranger...I knew that my Ranger was getting to the point that I was going to have to start...

I just recently purchases an FXR21 LE and I 2nd exactly what WillDaBeast said! Wasn't worth the money (in my eyes) for a hydraulic Jack Plate and loc-r bar...You can easily add those for less.
