I painted my dash and seats 3 years ago with vinyl paint,and they are still looking good.I got the paint from advance for about $7 a can.It cleans up easily with rag soaked with carb cleaner.

Did you mix the flakes in with the clear,or did you sprinkle them on?

i used bleach and water in a spray bottle,works great.

When I did mine I took a nail heated it,and inserted it into holes on the lids.this will seal the holes in the carpet and keep it from fraying.and makes it a lot easier to insert the screws.
