I have a question regarding this topic. I fish regularly in a lake that is 360'~ at its deepest point. Lake trout like to hug the bottom for a good portion of the year.

I've noticed that I have to change my chart source from "chart card" to "base map" every time I start up Solix 10. I am currently using the HB base map along with AutoChart live SD card that's used...

+1 on the Compass/Heading sensor. I recently installed one and it made a huge difference.

Call HB customer service. There's a good chance you'll have to send it back to the mothership. The good part is they turn it around quickly.

I just ordered the GPS receiver and heading sensor puck. I'll post the results when I am able to field test it.

I expect it to remedy the issue.

HB CS had me restore to the factory default while I was on the phone with them. It didn't make any immediate impact.

The 16GB SD card worked no better than the 32GB card so back to the mother-ship it goes.
