With my new ipilot link ulterra with gps should I use the ulterra gps. I have the Minn Kota heading sensor also. The external gpsis at the transom end of the boat as my helix is closest to that....

while fishing yesterday I noticed on my GPS only half the satellites were available than usual.
Is there a time in the fall when some of the satellites aren't available I know that there are more...
