I live 35-45 minutes from the Harris Chain and have only been there a few times over the past few months. It definitely gets beat up this time of year by large scale tournaments. It definitely calms...
Not a Z21 XL, but here is my 2020 Z21 Pro that I installed two power pole blades on. The hydrilla gear bulkheads really clean up the install in my opinion.
I assume he went off humminbird's website which lists the gateway as what part is needed. I just did this install and used a Level-1 MercMonitor used as the gateway and am pleased with how it turned...
No its not bad, but I do automotive work professionally at a dealership for a living so I'm used to it. Just take pictures or make a diagram. You will need small picks or a paper clip to release the...
You are going to have to remove the terminals from the harness connector on one side to be able to fit it through the rigging tube. I would recommend starting at the engine and feeding it through to...
My post above is a Solix 15 on Precision Sonar's Nitro console plate. It is mounted to the plate with their smart brackets.
You're definitely going to want some type of plate. Like stated above it will cover the hole from whatever was flush mounted from the factory. Now wether you buy a Precision Sonar plate or make your...
My Z21 had a Solix 12 flush mounted at the console, it will definitely fit. I now have a Solix 15 on a Precision Sonar mount which IMO is better than being flush mounted.
I used hydrilla gear bulkheads on my Z21
Precision sonar over and under mount on a 2020 Z21.
I'd say Lowrance is the most user friendly, but Humminbird with lakemaster mapping is the best. The depth offset and specific depth highlighting is awesome.
I'd definitely go black bottom hull over anything else. It is definitely a preference thing, but don't let others talk you out of it if you like the look. My current and previous boat had black...
The part number I gave is a kit. It comes with the coupler, master cylinder, reverse actuator, and associated pins and nuts.
Glad you got it squared away!
I just got one in May or June through a Tracker dealer. TR185983 or B412 were the part numbers on the box. Maybe give that a try?
Thats pretty odd actually, I have a 2012 Z8 with a 250xs and run a 26 Fury and 28 Bravo. I feel like I would blow out a 24 no problem no matter where the jack plate is set.
Thanks for the responses. I installed a new OBR ME-G6-23-N lower unit. I will check adjustments when I get home. Thank you.
Bump...any input would be appreciated

I recently installed a new torquemaster lower unit. I have noticed that it is a little harder to get in and out of gear than it was with the old lower unit. I have also noticed...

Can someone verify which lower unit I have? I am 99% sure it is a Gen 1 torquemaster. It came apart today and obviously I need a new one. Thanks.
Thanks for the replies guys. I appreciate it!
I'm a Florida boy coming to stay at a rental house on Lake Jackson in mid March with my family. I was thinking about towing my boat up to do some fishing. Can anyone point me in the right direction...
