It is worth it if they have your lake mapped. I'm holding out for Lake of the Woods(LOW) in Minnesota before purchasing a chip. Does anyone know if they will do LOW soon?

If your boat is sitting level on the trailer, I would put a small level on the end of the transducer to get it level with the ground provided you are on level ground. It looks to be pointing still...

From what I can find, the 12" units feature the same screen but the 10" units the Ultra has better resolution.
Thank you, I'm thinking that I might just bite the bullet and get the improved resolution, performance and GT56 transducer with the Ultra 106 unit and set myself up for the future.
