I doubt it was from running it hard. I haven’t fished a tourney in 2 years. And haven’t had it out since Labor Day last year. Just looks like they stuck together from age. There’s no other damage....
They were stuck together at the heat shrink. The connectors from each wire were just barely touching through a thin spot on both pieces of heat shrink.
Got lucky. Getting a new breaker this...
Just figured it out. The heat shrink on the black and red wire connectors up in the top had rubbed and worn through. It wasn’t visible without moving the wires. They were stuck together and the metal...
I know. That’s why it is puzzling. I tried the batteries with another trolling motor and it worked. The breaker is good. The fuse in the top of the motor is good. The lower unit is dry with no rust...
Batteries are fully charged. Tried 2 known working batteries yesterday, same problem. Bypassed the control board, and still nothing. It’s the trolling motor.
It’s not the batteries.
I have a Fortrex 80. It’s approximately 6.5 years old. Was on my boat when I bought it. I have 24.5+V at the batteries, relays, and plug. When I connect the tr motor wires to the plug and connect it,...
The recalibration worked. Thanks.
I found some info on that earlier today. Couldn’t access the how to video at work. Thanks.
Thanks. I’m able to open the Structure page now. I may scrap this unit. If you touch the icon in the center, it doesn’t open. But if you touch the screen above the edge of the icon, it opens. I’ve...
Purchased an Elite 9ti recently. Unit came with a 5 pin hdi xducer (fa xdcr hdi). An adapter cable was included. Sonar works fine. The Structure page will not open when I touch the screen.
Which...
I have a new set of Hornady FL dies. Never been used. Opened to check contents. Bought a set of rcbs and no longer need these.
Good luck. As hard as it is to acquire components right now, we aren’t too quick to let go of what we have stockpiled.
For the Grendel, you can resize 7.62x39 brass to 6.5 Grendel easily.
This is all that needs to be said.... Yet, someone always wants to ask for a manager when they don’t get the answer they want.
For whatever reason, after looking at a parts and wiring diagram I had printed off, I thought the Warning Module was the top one and the Det Control was the bottom one based on how they are stacked...
I figured it out. Why does the Det Control and the Warning Module have to be identical? Thanks for all of your replies everyone.
Warning module removed. Water sensor removed from port head. Still getting fast beeps when I turn the key and with motor running.
It hasn’t been altered.
I don’t know what’s causing it. Checked it just now and it’s doing it again. Back to the drawing board.
I tried an experiment. Disconnected the tan wire running from the port temp sensor over to the main power plug. Still gives the start up beeps like normal, but doesn’t beep when cranking the motor.
I disconnected the purple wire from the warning module and the water sensing module and still got beeps when I cranked the motor. The oil tank is temoved and all of the oil lines. Oul tank lid is...
Which module? I have the Water Sensing Module hooked up, the small box below the ECU that has the red LED, except for the light blue wire.
Now that all of the electrical is hooked up, minus the oil injection, it goes through the normal beep sequence when I turn the key on. When I turn to Start, I get a sequence of continuous beeps while...
Now that I have ALL of the electrical hooked up, minus the oil injection, it’s going through the normal beep sequence every time I turn the key.
When I turn to start, I get a long sequence of...
Thanks.
It beeped the normal 4 beep sequence this morning. A minute later it didn’t. I tried it just now and it worked normal. So I plugged the charger in to make sure the battery has enough voltage.
