Without this upgrade, Ultrex lasts about 6 months in the salt - no matter how carefully you maintain it. Though y'all would be interested.

I was as excited as anyone else when we got to ride in these a few weeks ago. I'll be strapping a 200 Pro XS to a new Pantera Classic.

Interesting point about a switch for the PowerPole.

I didn't have one from the start and during one trip, the cable from the trolling motor to the pedal ended up resting on my bow-mounted,...

Not in my part of the world. To be honest, most estuaries in the croc's range would be OK to fish in a bass boat.

There's some places in the Northern Territory that'd be a bit dodgy....

Nope. A "Ripper" is Aussie slang for a great fish. Those bream only grow to about 3lb. A short fish is usually called 'undersize' or 'not legal' ... or a little bastard!
