Voltage readout was showing 12.9 as well
I was getting 12.9 volts at the power chord where it plugs into the rear of the head unit, and as far as I know that should be plenty.
Need help before I send in to HB. Called customer service to explain the issues I'm experiencing, and they told me to send it in for evaluation and repair (FLAT RATE OF $440!). I've tried the Helix 9...
Would you send me contact info for who did this? I'm also looking into doing this on an X-19. What was your cost?
Looking for either a Helix 9 or 10, DM me with your price to ship to South Louisiana
Awesome. Could you give us a ballpark cost on that?
Please send a quote for a 10” shipped to south louisiana
You’re right on that one. Once I got the cap off I realized I was in over my head. What was supposed to be a simple transom replacement quickly turned into needing a complete rebuild. There was about...

The process has begun! I've recently acquired this mess with a vision of turning it into a fast & furious fishing machine. 1996 Blazer 202 Pro V (Boat and Trailer only) I'll try to update you all...
My 96 202 Pro V has bad panels at the console and bow. I plan on buying a sheet of carbon fiber laminated ABS plastic and cutting to fit. I'd like to know if you come up with another route.
Update: As it turns out, the issue was my base idle timing screw! WOW! The relief and embarrassment are battling it out right now. I had imagined that this adjustment screw was to solely adjust...
Yessir there is an air gap between the cam and roller, and all four carbs are closed and look like they operate in unison. I'll hook her up again tomorrow and see if I can't get the tach to read...
Straffordengineer you can view the pictures in an album I created on my profile. Thanks again for the help!
Also I've replied with pictures of the linkage alignment, awaiting their approval. But everything seems to be lined up
The timing light seems to be functioning properly as it shines only when the timing marks on the flywheel appear in the window
