Usually once a day unless I'm fishing.
Ok, thanks for the input. I will start with dropping the gear case looking in the cavities and take some pictures. Will post results soon.
Engine has 285 hours per level 2 merc monitor.
Engine starts and idles normal. RPM will not advance past idle with hot foot throttle pressed all the way down. With the hot foot held down the RPM...
When all else fails throw a trap!
I have two Okuma Calera's that have been excellent. I have had them for at least 10 years with no problems and very smooth and long casting. They were not real expensive either.
You can polish the blades. I have done so and it does make a difference but will not completely restore the blade to looking new again. To polish I use is Eagle One Never Dull which is a wadding...
I use a layer of 1/4"neoprene under my cooler box and live well lids to help keep them cooler. It helps to keep the heat out and the cool in.
73, don't post much but read just about every day except when I'm fishing. Lots of post WW II babies here!

So, he would need a hub kit for a Yamaha engine since the hub kit installed is for a Mercury engine. Is that correct? Thanks again.
Friend has a 250 Yamaha 2s that is currently running a power tech prop. He also has acquired a 25 Tempest + with a Mercury hub kit installed. Will the mercury hub kit work on the Yamaha and will it...

Would ya'll take a look at this again. I have some WOT numbers posted now. Thanks.
OK, I got the boat out and have some WOT numbers. The 25 Bravo 1 was hitting 6050 on the smart craft at a GPS speed of 68.3. I ran it at 2 3/4 and 2 1/2 P2P with the 2 1/2 being a little better (10"...
I will get back to you on that when I know exactly for certain. I do have a smartcraft instrument.
Thank you.
I have a 2007 929 Nitro with a 13' 250 pro xs. I ran that boat heavy for years with an old 25 Bravo 1 that has 8 pvs holes added with some work by Mark C. I took a lot of weight out of it and moved...
I had interference on my bow mount Garmin and did everything I could from the things I read on BBC and elsewhere. But, I still had some interference and then one day for some reason I changed the...
It was easier for me to help my old buddy out with his knot tying. Instead of him fussing with tying on hooks and baits I took a minute to do it for him. Then he and I wouldn't worry about him...
I have been using BBS for many years along with many other fishermen friends. It works great on the boat surfaces, removing carpet stains, the trailer, the wheels and tires, and your tow vehicle. I...
Thanks for the replies. What I did find yesterday is that the O-rings I use for wacky rigging senko type baits fits perfectly and works. I also found some O-ring kits at Harbor Freight that would...
I believe the gross weight in Texas is 4500lbs. Mine is just slighty over that and I have to get mine inspected.
