I had the same issue this summer with my 150 Opti, testing confirmed float in tank is no good so I had to order a new tank. Good luck finding one they seem to be back ordered everywhere, I ordered...

Starting to wonder if they even have anything even close to release.

What software are you running? I have 2 units one would run the latest software the other would do exactly what you are describing. I put both units back to version 7 and have had no more issues.

I have seen many transducers mounted on the port side of the boat, most tiller boats around here have them mounted on the port side.

1B914695 2012 150 Optimax, my tach on occasion goes crazy will bounce around and seems to read about 1000rpm to high, after a while it settles down and seems normal. Any ideas where to start with...

You need a 7 pin to 9 pin adapter.

When it does this put the unit into manual mode for a few seconds then back to auto, I had a HDS8 that would do this on occasion putting into and out of manual mode fixed it every time.

Just a heads up, lots of people have trouble with 18.2 I have 3 Gen3 units and only one would run 18.2 switched back to 7 and 0 zero issues including time.

Gen 1 units do not share maps, that came in Gen 2

Did they remove this button from the advanced settings on the structure scan page? I know I used to have it, the manual shows that it is supposed to be there, yet all 3 of my Gen 3 units do not have...

I have ran my Gen 3’s through the module and without the module IMO no discernible difference.

You can buy a card reader that plugs into your IPhone at Best Buy or Amazon.

Go to your files on your unit find the 7.0 version and download from there.

Either HDI or LLS2, spot light scan was mostly a bust.

Issues with this update for a lot of people, just a heads up. I have a 7” and a 9” Gen3 one will work with the latest update one is rendered useless, support from Lowrance is non existent.
