I have 07 521 same issue. I cut mine out and installed comfort troll one made for ultrex. Easy to do looks great no problems

The pedal actually fits in the recess but the cut out for the wiring is in the middle and the ultrex wiring is on the left of center causing the problem.

Don't have a tray just a frame around molded fiberglass with carpet. I am trying to figure out if that is part of the vertical structure for the deck.

Thinking about putting one of these in my 2007 ranger 521vx the factory recess doesn't fit the ultrex pedal good. Question is making the recess longer weaken the deck any. May can just sand a little...
