I used a star board block using the existing holes from the factory installed transducer.

No Largemouths in Moosehead and even tough there's some nice smallies there there they're not wide spread throughout the Lake

No issues towing with my cover. Mine came with the ratchet clamps (boat buckles) but I stopped using them. Instead I'm using a single ratchet strap, works better for my application!

Also pay attention to the width of the trailer and your door opening. Some trailers are wider than others and you could only have an inch or two for clearance!
Watching both but every time I go to Bass i get Welcher and Milliken staring at their screens with the bait out of the water!
