Hey BassDaggett, what charge on the run system do you use and would you recommend it?

Hey BassDaggett, what charge on the run system do you use and would you recommend it?
Who's plopped one down in the water and ready to give us a first impression?
Very interesting! Every bass boat I've had always ran faster with a lighter load. With no tackle and nearly empty gas tanks they run WAY faster. Sure I'd be adjusting my Bob's Action Jack for best...
Looked all over your site and did not see the Quest.
Would love to hear your review on how it's working for ya!
The Humminbird electronics integrate with the Minn Kota Ultrex, such that your trolling motor can plot and follow trails, depth contour lines, and even track weedlines. More features with Humminbird...
This right here ^^
You can't make powdercoating 'match' annodizing, you can only get close; they're two totally different looking finishes to the discerning eye. Also, some anodizing fades badly...
I know this was said tongue-in-cheek but if you've got your Mega Live transducer on a separate steerable shaft (like a 360 shaft), then this may make 360 obsolete, right? Especially in 'landscape'...
Would you recommend the same for a long run from rear batteries to a t/m at the bow, 24v or 36v?
They've also got far different internal resistance, so one will discharge more than the other, so many ways this is a bad idea...
Let us know if that works Billy :thumb up2:??
Anyone heard news of any breakthrough trolling motor designs or redesigns for 2021?
Is MK going brushless yet? Is Garmin doing any redesigns or improvements to the Force? How does the Lowrance...
Indeed, but wouldn't 4 gauge provide an extra measure of protection from voltage drop, especially since he's running 12v and probably will be running on higher speeds, higher amp draw, more than say...
How do you like that 60" shaft? Do you fish shallow much or mostly the atlantic ocean ;) ?
Hey IO, just curious, do you have a few bullet points on what makes the Detwiler/Seastar so much better than the Bob's? So far I'm leaning to Bob's because of lack of reasons to go Detwiler...
Thanks Bob!
Wow Scum_frog, that's amazing you're starting that big girl with only an 80Ah battery? That's the smallest I've heard in this thread survey and the other lithium threads. I wonder if Amped is using...
That's a great heater idea Amm-D, for charging in sub-freezing temps too!! Wouldn't flippin' that on an hour before blast-off be a good idea? Or do those lithium cells heat up so fast they don't need...
What outboard engine are you crankin' Phish and do you charge that 100Ah Relion to 100% before every trip?

That sounds like it's a common problem, with the switch to lithium tech cells. That's hard on an alternator too, when it's spinning full speed, to cut off the charge destination can blow your diode,...
Hmmm, interesting. Could it be a wiring issue? Seems like many others cleared up weird problems like that running heavier wire up to their 'birds?
What outboard are you running Basseditor? Why...
I'll agree with you, it sounds like a lot of trouble, but my last Odyssey crank battery was a shade under 80 lbs. That's heavy. Lead batteries also don't cycle near as long as lithium LifePO4...
That's good to know Haus, that they still work in temps that cold! All I can say is that California weather has me spoiled! Lol you're out in temps I'd just stay home by the fireplace!! I think when...
...you're right and the reality is Bob, that after 10 years we will have forgotten how much we spent back then and there'll be some super incredible graphene cell LFP battery that weighs nothing, is...
