Like I said I've just started using this unit but so far I get better images with the lower frequencies on DI. I'm not sure why yet. It's funny so far my 859 DI on the bow seems to have better DI...
Still playing around with settings.
I'm assuming all I have to do is run power to the 859 if just using it for its gps and mapping?

Thank you Wayne!
My goal is to run the units side by side. Running SI on the 999 and have the Lakemaster mapping running on the 859. Then mark a waypoint on the 999 and have it show up on 859...

I've been using my units with the fish ID on and have noticed when vertical jigging that by bird's will think my jig and plastic is a fish and put that fish symbol on the screen. It only happens...

My 999 SI is on it's way back to Humminbird for the 800kHz fix. They should receive it on 3/18/15. I forgot to remove my LakeMaster map and a 8GB sd card. Hope I get them back.:praying:
I have Straight Talk with the $45.00 plan with an android phone. My wife doesn't use her cell phone very much so she has Tracfone with triple minutes. Hers cost less than $10.00 a month. Both hers...
