I had a poppet issue with my 2008 250hp optimax this week. Couldn't find the assembly so I got the two main gaskets and cleaned the diaphragm really good. Overheat alarm went away and boat runs...
Also, try replacing your trolling batteries to Lithium. It made a difference on my 2100 with back wash. I'm running a 250 opti max.
On my 2006 2100 with 250 pro xs, I use a Razor 28 for fishing but my 29 Bravo XS is the best all around prop for me.
One on the members from Texas made me a custom clip to mount my units to the left side of my drivers console. I'm running two 10" helix units upfront. If you check some of my older posts you will...
The fortex padle will not fit in the 1999 Gambler Intiminator.
Did you guys see the new Gambler on the Gambler Facebook Page? Really nice job they did with the new boat!!!
Yes. You may be able to use the existing hole. Or, you will have to counter sink the hole to fit your new transducer.
P.S. You will also need a really long screw driver! 18" or more!
I removed the mounting plate from the boat then fitted the the pumps, charger and batteries. Re-installed the plate and then mounted the charger, pumps and batteries in place.

Thanks
Installed Power Poles on the 2100 this weekend!
Raising the jackplate and Trimming the boat are not the same. I don't think the boat is trimmed properly. You won't get a beep by trimming the boat. Didn't hear anything about chime walk yet. ...
That's Cool!!
How far are you trimmed up? Sounds like you're not up on the running pad yet. Most people would have to learn to how to counter the chime at speeds above 60 or so. If that's not the case. I would...
That looks great!!!!
What kind of speeds are you getting with the 175hp sho? And how does the boat handle with it? What size set back do you go with?
Thanks for the help guys!
I know this have been discussed a lot. I good friend of mine has a 2001 xb2003 with a 225 pro max. He's getting older and thinking about selling the boat which I may buy. I was concerned about the...
Nice bass!
Check the Gambler Facebook site also. There are quite a few guys running the new four strokes on their Gamblers and Sterlings.
That's a really good idea! Good job!!!
Start at 3" below and go up from there.
