My avatar is a picture of it
yes, 21 vee. low rod locker, but will hold 7' rods. my son has an 88 model
With ignition switch on, trim motor up and see if fuel pump shuts off. You have to do it quick because fuel pump only stays on for like 30 seconds if no fuel is being used.
Might have ruined crank also.
I had exact problem two weeks ago. Check both wires going to the top of fuel pump. Sometimes the female blade connectors don't have good connection. crimp them little tighter
I forgot it was CDM ignition. Yep, not much you can do.
That's better numbers!! What spark plugs are you running? Read your plugs. Might have to rejet carbs. Definitely check timing. I wouldn't go over 23 degs, unless you index and find most advanced...
Is it possible the low cylinder isn't sealing properly since being shaved? I've never used a shaved o-ring head. Just curious
130-143 variance is on the verge of rebuild/re-ring
Oil injection delete kit is around $14. Get the dipstick style kit. remove pump and tanks. pretty simple
injector, ecu or oil system failure
Looks like a water separator to me. I have used one in my boat since the ethanol started.
P.S. Don't forget to put shift shaft in before putting powerhead back on. Ive only forgot that about 3 times over the years before finally learning.
Yep, leaking crank seal is my guess. Look at driveshaft and make sure it is smooth where it meets seal
looks like base plate gasket was leaking and make sure and check/replace lower crank seal
Not to start an oil injection argument, but I personally haven't seen a promax with oil tank still on it. Not even in a picture
2.4 motor do better on light hull. definitely wouldn't put one on a ranger
Pro Marine
2.5 or 3.0 liter?

reeds would be my first guess also
Looking for a ladder that will work on a 1995 140 SL Fish and Ski
