The boat is 17' so i'd guess the wire is about 20'. The motor will be a Minn Kota Ulterra 24V.

The boat is 17’ and the TM is a Minn Kota Ulterra 24V.
The TM wiring is 8 gauge.
It's not the 6 gauge that is recommended. Spoke to someone at the dealer today. The wiring in place has 2 red wires and 1 black. Checked both front and back and 1 red wire is taped on both ends....
Just bought a 2004 Triton aluminum Crappie boat. Replacing a 12V Minn Kota with a 24V one. Presently it has one 2 wire hookup to the TM. There is another 2 wire hookup in it that has been taped up....
