    We soak the apples in lemon juice. Just be sure not to use to much. You can probably do that for the banana's and pinapple as well.

    Sorry it took so long to reply. The stuff we used is called Jerky Cure by Rocky Mountain products.
    We used the original recipe and it was great.

    I got a jerky making kit from the grocery store. It came with seasoning and the cure. It turned out real well. Even my wife likes it and she won't eat deer meat. I will get the name of it tonight...

    I'm not sure if they would taste much different the large mouth's, but there is only one way to find out. Just try a few and see if you like them.

    Need some good recipe's to fix deer meat

    I had some deer meat given to me this year, and would like some good way's to fix it. I have some deer burger, some deer steaks, and round steaks, as well as a couple loins.
