I still have my 1998 487VS and just repowered it and made a bunch of other improvements and I'm still running her up and down the lake.

I'm not sitting there all day and "waiting until they bite" even if I caught them there in the past. There are other places to fish so let's go find em and catch em now!

I definitely recommend Curtis Massey! He did a lot of work on my boat and it looks fantastic. I've recommended him to everybody I've come in contact with that needs anything done to their boat.

Chris was a friend of mine and has done a lot of work on my boat over the years. He'll definitely be missed!

I just put 3 BBT gimble brackets on my boat. Two short ones at the bow and a full size at the console for my Lowrance 12 Lives. It made a big difference in strength. The factory Lowrance gimbles...

I just switched to the exact same setup with the IONIC batteries on my 98 487VS. It made a huge difference in all around performance. I just wish I would have done it sooner!

It would most definitely be worth it! Then you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Mine is silver (Platinum mist) and I've never had a problem.

I have a Nest and it's been very reliable.
