Try creating your own set of guages using the builtin app. I've run into the same problem. Couldn't get water pressure to show anywhere on that Mercury app.
Just went out to the garage and fired...
One of the advertised features of the Point 1 is that it is firmware upgradeable over your NMEA network.
There was an update (ver 1.4 back in May of 2023), I don't know what that one was for?
I...
I keep wondering if the purchase of the Reef Master software might be a worthwhile endeavor. The lakes around northern Colorado vary greatly in water elevation. I've seen numerous C-Map Genesis...
That would be a nice feature to have. I just went out the garage and fired up my HDS12. Nope! Can't move 'em. As you know, a long press on any one of those lights up an "X" to delete and a wrench...
Just clicked on my C-Map bookmark and the site is back up......... partially.
Put the latest version of software on an SD card and insert it. Then plugin/turn on the unit. I've fixed a couple of these that seemed to be totally dead this way. The operating system looks for...
Hmmmm. Don't remember where I read about the updating over NMEA. Somewhere on the internet so it must be true, right?
I've installed it. It didn't break anything that I can tell. One of the improvements is that you'll supposedly be able to update over the NMEA network which I'm looking forward to since my VVL box...
Installed the updates on my HDS12, Carbon, and AT2:
It appears they broke the function of the yellow wake-up wire. My AT2 powers up regardless if the yellow wire is connected to the HDS12 or not....
Installed/used my AT2 yesterday for the 1st time. I was using it in forward mode while watching a bottom bouncer being dragged behind the boat. In four hours it did the reset routine twice. Guess...

This is a Croc! :-)
How 'bout putting Point 1 NMEA data on ethernet. Tired of buying yet another NMEA drop & Tee.
Pump kits are coming with two different plastic parts that mate the pump to the feed tube that goes up to the engine. I repaired a friends engine after a dealer installed the wrong part. I haven't...
Yes, I have Vessel View Link. A year ago the Troll Control feature whereby I could control the RPM of my 150 was broken by update 20. It took nearly a year for that feature to be returned to...
The version number is VVL-20.2-64.3.103 ?
Does anyone know what this one does (or doesn't) do? I've grown suspicious of updates that break things.
Thanks.
Change that "28-" to 48- and Google it.
There's a version 20.1-64.1.18 now available. Hopefully it has the fix for the Troll Control "Helm Must Be Active" problem.
Alas, I won't be able to tell until I get the update installed and hit...
No argument there thommo on the outlay$. It's unfortunate for all of us that Mercury had to use a proprietary interface protocol (hardware & software). You've no doubt researched the Vessel View...
Vessel View Link and a NEMA starter kit will get you there.
Ah, thanks for that info whittenborn. Beta tester, eh. You are brave one.
Sooo, the problem is at the Mercury end of the cable :thumb up2:
Yeah! Hope it fixes "Troll Control" via Vessel View. Two inches of snow on the ground here already. I believe I'll wait until next week to check it out.
Ditto that. 20.0 killed the Troll Control feature some of us use via Vessel View Link. I understand an update is coming this (Sept) month.
GPS is great at telling you where you are, but can't tell which direction you are facing........ unless you start moving in some direction. As ecoast pointed out, adding a Point-1 on a NEMA network...
Be sure to check out the social maps on CMAP Genesis. They keep getting better and better.
