The reason I am considering braid is I make long cast and hard to work the bait good on long cast..I have a light action Rod.

Thats what Chevy does to get a good fuel milage out of a full size truck..The high gear will give you a good mpg but it's like dragging when towing.. Re gear to 4:10 or lower
