First off my boat stays on the water on a lift all summer long (when not in use)(I know how you all think :smile:). My old boat only had a 12v trolling motor so I would just take the TM battery out...

Yeah, I figured I could bring a battery in but thought it would be easier with the converter. The units aren't in a boat yet and it's still to darn cold here to sit in the garage!
