maybe i should rephrase my question what lenght shaft is recommended for a coral,iv got a 200 efi and when i looked the serial number up there were two different shafts but no mention of length.
thinking about putting a suzuki on my coral a 225,will a 25 inch shaft work?the measument i got was 24 inches roughly from the top of transom to the bottom by the drain plug.
let us know what you find for your coral,iv been kicking around the idea of replacing mine with an aluminum one.But dont even know where to start.
i second that
just saw this no you do not need to remove tank, but you will need along extension to reach the bolt, theres a recess in the tank to get to the lower bolts.
id like to know as well
not to hijack the thread, so on the 200efi 2002 model the opti cowlings of the same year or aprox year will work?
might be my post about a head gasket leaking and causing a high water pressure reading, and an alarm at idle.
yeah might want to check or change that wp gauge shouldnt be that high
wouldn't there be an alarm set off if it was not oiling?
funny thing here is i know iv seen several people on here replace their engine tank from cracks or from sticking level floats, with that you open the system and im pretty sure they had to prime system...
seems to me you could squirt a few shots of 2 stroke oil in the vst,or run it on another tank with premix for a minute.I do wonder if you were to pull the plugs and turn it over with lanyard pulled...
