Correct, same placement that's on your 21XL. As APS mentioned, pulling the gear selector plate would give me access, but not sure how much.

My Garmin units at the bow come off every single trip. Peace of mind I guess and the quick disconnect Garmin has makes it super simple. Garmin at the console is flush mounted, so obviously it stays.
